Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is a day for celebrating happy relationships (or traditionally sending ‘anonymous’ messages to a potential boy/girlfriend), but we all know that it isn’t always a happy day. Some people will have suffered the breakdown of a relationship or their relationship may be strained and unhappy.
Relate understands this and works with couples and individuals who are either going through a difficult time or have decided that their relationship has ended.
On Valentine’s Day, staff and volunteers from Aldershot Relate will be outside Tesco’s supermarket with roses and other goodies and we will be collecting to support our work with poeple whose relationships are breaking down, have broken down or are in conflict and to support their children through our young people’s counselling service. If you’re in the area, please come along to support us – or to ask questions.
This is the second year we have done this and we were overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the people we met last year. Please help us to make this year as successful!
